We haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on our list!
Our Travel Style
When it comes to travel, everyone has their own style and interest. Here are some notes on how we approach our trips with things that we’re interested (and not interested) in:
- When we travel internationally, our approach is to see as much as we can with the time that we have. Definitely not relaxing, but always rewarding!
- We love researching our trips and having rather structured itineraries going into them. Our #1 source for research when it comes to European travels is Rick Steves!
- If we could take our Corgis with us everywhere, we could! You’ll see we love highlighting dog-friendly travel options and try to take our furry family members with us on road trips across the U.S.
- While we enjoy experiencing local culture and the unique foods that come with that, we are in no way foodies. You will not see us posting fancy food photos or going out of our way to try a Michelin star restaurant. With that being said, we do like events focused around drinking experiences and are big fans of craft beer.
- When it comes to looking for accommodations, we lean towards finding Airbnb options first. We’ve found that these give more of an authentic feel and have some of the best locations compared to hotels, especially when traveling internationally. They also tend to be the more comfortable and cost effective option when traveling with dogs.
