Our RV Home Away From Home Journey

Our RV Home Away From Home Journey

The COVID-19 pandemic cancelled many travel plans that we had in 2020 and the first half of 2021, but it also presented us with some unique travel opportunities. We are preparing to embark on one of those opportunities as we grab the Corgis, load up a RV, and head out on a 3 and a half week journey through the western US!

This is both an RV adventure and also a remote working experiment. We are both working fully remotely so our plan of attack is to work pretty regular work weeks throughout this trip. We will be utilizing a combination of campsite WiFi and our Verizon hotspot to keep us connected as we manage working together out of a metal box!

Our goal is to hit several national parks and monuments, get experience hiking, and see a ton of new locations along the way. As always, we’ll make sure to check out the local breweries and find some of the best dog friendly patios available!

We look forward to documenting this RV journey through our blog – stay tuned for updates! Below is the path that we’ll be taking with some key stops along the way. We’ve been doing our research to make sure we stay on RV friendly interstates and highways and also looking into how we find travel stops that are suitable for us. Since we are towing our SUV it will make it a bit tricky since we need to pull through and can’t back up easily. It will certainly be a fun challenge!

We hope this helps you plan your next trip! Check out more of our outdoor adventures here.
