Dubai’s Global Village: A World of Wonders

In the heart of the desert city of Dubai lies a world of wonders, a place where cultures collide and diversity thrives. Dubai’s Global Village is a must-visit destination that offers a world of experiences in one place. In this blog post, we’ll take you on a virtual journey through this remarkable attraction, where you can experience the world without leaving Dubai.

Visiting Dubai’s Global Village

Here are the basics that you need to know for your visit to the Global Village. Make sure to check out the Global Village’s official website for up to date information and details on any special events.

  • The location is open during Dubai’s cooler months from October to April each year.
  • The focus of the village is on evening entertainment with it opening at 4pm each day. It stays open until midnight on weekdays and 1am on the weekend.
  • Though you are able to reach the location by bus, we found that taking a taxi or rideshare was the easiest and fastest approach. It is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Dubai. Check out our Dubai transportation guide for more information on taxis and rideshare options.
  • The Global Village is less touristy compared to many of Dubai’s attractions. It had the feel of where the locals go for entertainment and appeared to be very family friendly. We really enjoyed seeing this side of Dubai! With that being said, the location does have more traditional restrictions.
    • Dress code is respectful attire (covered torso, including shoulders and covered legs, including knees) for men and women.
    • The public display of affection is not allowed, and behavior such as kissing and hugging is forbidden.
