Dog-Friendly Jackson, Wyoming Accommodations

There are plenty of dog-friendly hotels, cabins, and resorts in and around Jackson, Wyoming. We’d recommend staying right in town as you can easily walk to all that the town offers while still being a quick drive to Grand Teton National Park and other outdoor attractions. These are our top picks:

  • We choose to stay at Cowboy Village Resort and opted to rent a small cabin. The resort offers you the feeling of staying in a more remote campsite with mountain views while actually being located right in the middle of town. We enjoyed having our own cabin with easy in and out access for our dogs, and liked that we could walk to the main parts of town. Pets are welcome at the resort with no fees!
  • Just a block away from Cowboy Village Resort is 49’er Inn & Suites. This hotel offers great walkable access to all the town offers and also doesn’t charge pet fees.

Exploring Nature’s Playground With Your Pup

Dog-Friendly Food & Drinks in Jackson, Wyoming

There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and breweries in towns that offer dog-friendly patios. Note, though, that these patios may be seasonable and may not be available when you’re visiting. We visited in May and there were several that were not open up. Since Wyoming doesn’t allow dogs indoors, we had to choose alternative options.

Breweries

  • Snake River Brewing was our favorite stop in town! Not only do they offer a variety of award winning brews and great food food, but they have a very nice dog-friendly space. There is a large outdoor space with plenty of seating options including chairs surrounding a fire pit, and there is also a paved patio where you can order food with your dogs.
  • Located just outside of town center (but still walkable) you’ll find StillWest Brewery & Grill. Dogs are only allowed on their lower patio which made it a bit odd since that patio wasn’t in use while we were visiting. The staff was very accommodating of us, though, and even brought down our food orders to the patio when ready.

Cafes

  • Take a break from shopping and stop by Cowboy Coffee Co. for a coffee drink or smoothie. They offer a couple covered dog-friendly tables out front where your pups will get plenty of attention.
  • If you’re looking to grab food with your coffee, Snake River Roasting Co. offers a large dog-friendly patio right in the heart of town. We enjoyed a couple fresh and healthy meals here.

Restaurants

  • Liberty Burger offered a fun dining experience for us and our pups. Their patio is on the second level overlooking the town and surrounding mountains. It was great to take in the views while enjoying tasty burgers!
  • We stopped at Big Hole BBQ for some tasty meats and sides. They offered a covered patio with plenty of dog-friendly tables. As a bonus for us, they had plenty of local beers available!

Jackson, Wyoming offers a great dog-friendly town center with plenty of shops to explore – many even allow dogs inside!
